Gary: Dear family and friends, we are gathered here, amid the beauty of nature, and in the presence of God, to unite Chris and Jessica in marriage. Let us pray: Maker of all beauty, who makes the sun rise in splendor, and march in quiet radiance across the sky; who provided harmony to thought, and moral consciousness to character, we rejoice in your perfection, and in the marvelous design that unites us as families. Teach us to live in the beauty of your holiness as known in Jesus Christ. Amen.
Gary: Who presents Jessica to be joined in marriage to Chris?
David: Her mother and I do.
What Jessica and Chris mean to each other is obvious in their lives, but not easily expressed in the language of a ceremony. Marriage, and the union it symbolizes, can be the most intriguing of human experiences, for in any accounting, love in its infinite manifestations is what life is all about. To share their lives, to encourage creativity, inspire each other to reach beyond the limits of the ordinary...not at the expense of each partner's individuality, but rather, by the strength of the common bond, this is the hope in which Jessica and Chris come to be married.
